Sevil Dolmacı Dubai is preparing to host the first solo exhibition of renowned European artist Daniel Knorr in Dubai. Knorr's SURFACED will meet art lovers between December 18 - January 26, 2024.
Born in Bucharest, Knorr lives in Berlin and Hong Kong. In 2005, the artist represented Romania at the Venice Biennale and participated in Documenta in 2017. 2019 at Art Basel Miami Laundry with the car wash installation titled "Car Wash".

The experience of making an exhibition is like a period in which various artworks placed in private and public space come to the surface. Being on the surface, being in contact with the audience is an emotional moment. The works reflect the moment of aligning with the surface again after being affected by time. The work represents the volume that disappears when it rains, appearing or disappearing in the form of puddles on the roads or in the environment. he says. In the Dubai exhibition, the viewer will witness these moments described by the artist.
