RESILIENT FORMS" GROUP EXHIBITION OPENING
Sevil Dolmacı Dubai is proud to present "Resilient Forms", a dynamic group exhibition of contemporary creatives shaped by artistic innovation and imagination. With a rich selection of paintings and sculptures, "Resilient Forms" showcases works by renowned artists Ross Bleckner, Nevin Aladağ, Beverly Fishman, Robert Janitz, Daniel Knorr, Ekrem Yalçındağ, Ahmet Oran, Rosy Keyser, Elvan Alpay and Igor Skaletsky.
This exhibition offers a platform that brings together the diverse voices of contemporary art, each artist bringing their own unique vision to life through their mastery of different materials. Durable Forms invites viewers to experience the transformative potential of art through the rich interplay of texture, form, color and meaning.
Beverly Fishman depicts the body as a complex site of identity and illness, combining abstract exploration with bold neon colors. Her playful yet profound forms reframe medicine and healing as a living expression of the human condition. Ekrem Yalçındağ presents a dialog between tradition and innovation by combining floral and geometric motifs. His intricate designs blend cultural heritage with the vibrancy of contemporary art. For Elvan Alpay, art is a refuge. Inspired by nature as the essence of life, her mixed media works suggest healing and reconnecting with the rhythms of the natural world. Rosy Keyser's tactile, large-scale works evoke memory and hidden histories by blending materials and gestures. Nevin Aladağ transforms ordinary materials into reflections on migration, identity and cultural change, reimagining the familiar as mirrors of shared histories. Daniel Knorr raises awareness through performance, text, archival materials and installations, transforming the ordinary into acts of empowerment and self-reflection. Based on the AIDS crisis, Ross Bleckner's poetic paintings explore loss, fragility and memory, transforming personal pain into symbols of resilience. Igor Skaletsky combines classical imagery with brilliant modern aesthetics, transforming familiar narratives into ironic, dreamlike compositions. With signature directness, Robert Janitz layers memories and daily observations onto his canvas.
