EMPHASIS ON TURKISH AND GERMAN ART AT ART COLOGNE FAIR

Sevil Dolmacı Gallery is participating in Art Cologne 2025 in Cologne, Germany with a special selection reflecting its global vision and curatorial diversity. The presentation, which will take place on November 6-9, brings together artists from the Americas, Europe and Turkey, exploring the transitions between abstract and figurative, the sensory potential of material and surface, and the multi-layered nature of identity and memory.

Sevil Dolmacı Gallery attaches great importance to strengthening its relationships with collectors, art professionals and especially Turkish art buyers living in and around Germany. In order to make these ties permanent, the gallery regularly participates in the Cologne and Düsseldorf fairs. Thus, the gallery aims to increase the visibility of the artists it represents and to establish long-term cultural relations.

This year's presentation focuses on an interdisciplinary dialogue through the sensory power of material and surface, addressing themes of identity, belonging and transformation with a contemporary aesthetic. A broad international perspective was adopted in the selection process. Considering the increasing recognition of Turkish artists in Germany and its surroundings and the high Turkish population, approximately 40% of the presentation is made up of Turkish artists. Likewise, 40% German artists were included to reflect the contemporary art dynamics of the region. The remaining 20% included artists who have made significant contributions to the history of American art.

Sevil Dolmacı Gallery brings together the works of Nevin Aladağ, Ross Bleckner, Doğan Doğan, Ebru Döşekçi, Daniel Firman, Nilbar Güreş, Robert Janitz, Daniel Knorr, Ahmet Oran, Eric Shaw, Leif Trenkler and Ekrem Yalçındağ with international art lovers at booth A-419.
