Royal Jarmon (b. 1986, Sacramento) is a Brooklyn-based artist known for his dynamic paintings and sculptures that explore perception, space, and contemporary culture. Using oil, acrylic, and graphite, as well as occasional sculptural elements, she distorts everyday objects, exaggerates perspective, and saturates color to create a surreal, flat reality. His works reflect themes of consumerism, entertainment and digital culture, transforming familiar scenes such as fire escapes filled with bottles and boxes into vivid, illusionistic worlds. Jarmon's work has been exhibited internationally at galleries such as The Hole (New York), Over the Influence (Hong Kong/Los Angeles), Plus-One Gallery (Antwerp) and Eric Firestone Gallery (Hamptons). She has done a sculpture study with Case Studio (Belgium) and participated in the artist programs at Silver Arts (NYC) and L21 (Majorca). Her work has been featured in publications such as Cool Hunting, New American Paintings and Artmaze Magazine.
