Gülfem Kessler (b. 1966, Ankara) The artist lives and works in Istanbul and Urla/İzmir.

Kessler, who has had an intense and mobile artistic practice since her school years, studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (The Hague / Netherlands), Department of Painting and Graphics between 1993-1998. She attended the Özer Kabaş Workshop at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Painting Department between 1996-1997. 

She participated in many group exhibitions in places she lived before choosing a more settled lifestyle in Istanbul 2016. Later, she worked as a founding member of the art and culture festival in Izmir and took on the position of art coordinator 2016-2019.

Currently working In Istanbul as an artist with Sevil Dolmaci Istanbul/ Dubai
