Sarıbaş's art is shaped by formal experiments and abstract expressions. In his works, he establishes an aesthetic language with human figures, silhouettes and symbols. By using color and form together, he drags the viewers into different emotional and visual experiences. By abstracting with a clear and simple language, he gives space to the viewer's imagination. In his paintings, the artist usually works on themes based on nature and environmental elements.

Barış Sarıbaş has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad since 1997. In addition to solo exhibitions such as “Run(a)way” (2008, Dirimart, Istanbul), “Mo(ve)ment” (2011, Olcayart, Istanbul), “Cosmos” (2022, MerqezArt, Bodrum), he has participated in international platforms such as Scope Art Show Miami (USA), Lucca Art Fair (Italy), Art Taipei (Taiwan), Macro Asilo Museum (Italy), Saatchi Gallery (London). His works are included in the collections of important institutions such as Baksı Museum, Ankara Painting and Sculpture Museum, Museum Evliyagil (Ankara), Luciano Benetton Collection (Turin, Italy), Bilotti Museum (Rende, Italy). In addition to various art awards in Turkey, Sarıbaş was awarded the Contemporary Art Award at Lucca Art Fair in 2019. With his disciplined production style, strong intellectual background and ever-transforming narrative, Sarıbaş has carved a unique place for himself in the contemporary art world.
