SEVİL DOLMACI Art Consultancy was a consultancy company founded in 2015. Today, Sevil Dolmacı Gallery has evolved into an Amsterdam-based art holding company that manages a consultancy company and an artist residency program. Our structure, which has branches in Dubai and Istanbul, is currently working to establish an art fund. In 2025, the 10th anniversary of our foundation, we aim to become a globally integrated art institution that has a voice in the Middle East and manages projects with art funds in Europe and Turkey. With this motivation, we continue to expand our team. We started working with Şeyda Altuğ from the business world as COO. Esra Özkan, a curator who has carried out important projects on digital art in Turkey and abroad, is among the names that have joined our team.
In line with our gallery mission, our young and predominantly female team is innovative, well-versed in the international art world and professionally competent in their respective fields. We will close the year 2024 with a team of 40 people, 20 full-time and 20 with external support. In 2025, I aim to grow by putting down roots in the triangle of the Middle East, Europe and Turkey by recruiting a European curator who has managed successful projects in museums and an art consultant from Europe who has worked in a major auction house. Art is a growing market, especially in Turkey and the Middle East. In order to be an effective player in the market, my biggest goal is to achieve success as a young Turkish woman gallerist who is influential in the world with a strategy that feeds from Europe and America in terms of artists and art professionals but focuses on Turkey and the Middle East in terms of customers and expansion."

This platform, initiated by Fortune Turkey, takes steps to foster new ideas and inspire groundbreaking thoughts by introducing high-potential executives to a wide range of stakeholder-focused topics and bringing them together with a community of peers. As Fortune Turkey, we aim to regularly offer leading figures in Turkish business valuable insights on the global business world from the Fortune US team and help them in shaping their roadmaps.

Sevil Dolmacı Art Consultancy was founded in 2015 as a consultancy firm. Today, it has transformed into an art holding structure based in Amsterdam, managing the Sevil Dolmacı Gallery, the consultancy firm, and an artist residency program. Our structure, with branches in Dubai and Istanbul, is currently working on establishing an art fund. By the 10th anniversary of our foundation in 2025, our goal is to become an art institution that holds a significant position in the Middle East, manages art funds with projects in Europe and Turkey, and is integrated into the global art scene. With this motivation, we continue to expand our team. We began working with Şeyda Altuğ as the COO from the business world. The internationally renowned curator, Esra Özkan, who has completed significant projects in digital art both domestically and abroad, is also among the new additions to our team.
Our young and predominantly female team is innovative, internationally aware of the art world, and professionally skilled in their fields, aligning with our gallery mission. We are closing 2024 with a team of 40, including 20 full-time employees and 20 external collaborators. In 2025, I aim to expand by adding a European curator who has managed successful projects in museums and an art consultant who has worked at a major European auction house. Our goal is to root and grow within the triangle of the Middle East, Europe, and Turkey. The art market is particularly growing in Turkey and the Middle East. To be an influential player in the market, my ultimate goal is to achieve success as a young Turkish woman gallerist, focusing on Turkey and the Middle East for customers and outreach while being nourished by artists and art professionals from Europe and the US."
