Sevil Dolmacı Art Gallery will take part in CI Bloom, organized by Contemporary Istanbul at Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Center between June 1-4. At the booth numbered LK-12, it will be possible to see the works of contemporary artists living in Turkey represented by the gallery, as well as foreign artists who have exhibited in important museums and galleries around the world and whose solo exhibitions will open in our gallery next season.
The gallery represents world-renowned foreign artists Bosco Sodi, Beverly Fishman, Cody Choi, Robert Janitz, Jason Stopa, Eric Shaw and Royal Jarmon, as well as Dmitry Mironov, Haluk Akakçe, The newly produced works of Ahmet Oran, Ekrem Yalçındağ, Erhan Lanpir, Nejat Satı, Sinan Saül, Ozan Oganer, Bahar Oganer, Yasin Uysallar, Gençay Aytekin, Tuğçe Dayıoğlu and Mustafa Yüce will meet with art lovers.
Korean artist Cody Choi, who held his first exhibition in Turkey last March at Sevil Dolmacı Art Gallery, Istanbul, will be exhibiting neon works with an ironic language and "Color Paintings", where writing and color come together. Mexican artist Bosco Sodi will be at the gallery's booth with his canvas works made of natural materials such as sawdust, pigment and cellulose pulp. The newly produced canvas works of German artist Robert Janitz, whose current solo exhibition "Sphinx" is taking place in the main space of König Gallery, will meet the audience for the first time at the fair. American artists Beverly Fishman and Jason Stopa, who were added to the gallery's artist list in 2023 and will have their solo exhibitions in Istanbul in 2024, will meet a wide audience of art lovers for the first time in Turkey. Beverly Fishman, who combines vibrant and phosphorescent colors in her wall installations, is an artist whose exhibitions have been opened in important museums around the world. Fishman's works on the drug addiction that plagues the world have a striking effect. Jason Stopa's abstract works inspired by architecture and created with various color combinations will be at the LK-12 booth.
Sevil Dolmacı Art Gallery will share the works of Dmitry Mironov, a young Russian artist living in Turkey, with the art audience for the first time at CI Bloom. The fair will feature the artist's large-scale canvas works that seek inspiration in nature by escaping from city life. Ozan Oganer and Yasin Uysallar will exhibit their unique sculptures, while Haluk Akakçe, Bahar Oganer, Sinan Saül, Ahmet Oran, Ekrem Yalçındağ, Erhan Lanpir, Nejat Satı, Gençay Aytekin, Tuğçe Dayıoğlu and Mustafa Yüce will exhibit their canvas and panel works.
CI Bloom will host VIP guests on Wednesday, May 31st, and art lovers will have their fill of art with the general opening on June 1st-4th.
